Abraham Lincoln: The
16th President of the United States of America. A nation’s unifier, human
rights and anti-apartheid advocate, which is evident in the 13th Amendment, for
which he played a great role in its passage, that ended slavery in the USA,
Lincoln got his certificate to practice law 3 years after the enactment of
Illinois Law allowing a citizen with good moral character to practice law after
procurement of certificate from the court in Illinois.
Prior to getting his
certificate, Lincoln had attended school unknown to other historians knowledge and consciousness although he was also a self-taught man.
Simplification of cases through logical
oral argument was the highlight of his law practice.
Prior to be elected as
president, Lincoln was also a member of the US House of Representatives. He was also the
Commander-in-Chief during US Civil War.
Also, the first US President
to be assassinated.
Abraham Lincoln who is referred
to as the Great Emancipator and the Savior of the Union is considered as one of
the 3 greatest American Presidents.
