Jesus Quevenco, the
surrogate of the late President Ferdinand Marcos whom the former met in 1964.
Quevenco was a former businessman who owned an insurance company before in
Negros Province. Having served as a double for the late strongman for 3
ocasions, Quevenco later quitted his sideline after he and his wife, Thelma, were mobbed
in many instances by radical students and anti-Marcos rallyists in early 1970s.
In 2014, Quevenco, who outlasted the former president for 25 years, died of
lung ailment at the age of 90 years old.
