The First Tablet PC

Do you know that Microsoft Company is the first software company to introduce the first tablet PC in our time?

Although it lacked the support of consumers when it was first launched in 2001 or 9 years before Apple’s iPad got into the mainstream, Microsoft Tablet PC is considered as the first all-in portable personal computer or tablet innovation in this modern day era.

The term "TABLET" or "Tablet PC," with a machine tracing pen or popularly known today as stylus, was first coined in 2001 by Microsoft Company after Steve Ballmer, who was a former software architect, took over as CEO of the Company from Bill Gates.

Also, in 2000, Microsoft already introduced and marketed the first smartphone operated under the earlier version of Windows operating system then.

Similarly in 1995,  Microsoft hinted and planned to build company's search engine in the world wide web.

However, all these inventions were scarcely recognized or even rebuffed by the consumers owing to the lawsuit and fiasco facing the company then.
